Kristin recently joined the MnRA team as the Director of Government Relations. She represents the diverse membership of retail merchants at the Minnesota State Capitol. Her advocacy and lobbying efforts protect the priorities and positions set forth by the MnRA. Kristin previously served as the Government Affairs Director for the Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS® (SPAAR) where she led efforts on real estate related policy and political activities.Prior to SPAAR, Kristin conducted public policy research with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and held a similar position with the Tobacco Law Center in Minnesota.Kristin received her Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction from Concordia College where she double majored in English Writing and Communications. Following her undergraduate studies, Kristin attended William Mitchell College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor degree. She has been admitted to practice law in the State of Minnesota since 2009.
