MnRA President Announces That He is Stepping Down in September
Bruce "Buzz" Anderson, President of the Minnesota Retailers Association announced today his intention to resign from his leadership role at the Association effective September 30, 2010.
Said Anderson, "The Minnesota Retailers Association has served the retail community in Minnesota for more than 50 years. I am proud to have been a part of this outstanding organization that operates in today's fast paced and dynamic marketplace. Still there is a great deal more to be done. I think it is time for new leadership that can respond to today's challenges in this ever changing retail marketplace."
Anderson indicated that the Association would be accepting resumes from interested candidates immediately. Those resumes will be reviewed by a selection committee appointed by Jeff Lindoo, Chair of the Board of the Association and Vice President of Thrifty White Drug, headquartered in Maple Grove.
Added Lindoo, "Our Association is very grateful for Buzz' leadership and we thank him for his nearly ten years of service." Questions may be directed to Jeff Lindoo, Thrifty White Pharmacies, 6901 East Fish Lake Road #118, Maple Grove, MN 55369.
