The Minnesota Retailers Association (MnRA) continually keeps members up to date on the most recent trends and issues that are affecting retail business. Through various publications, we are able to educate retailers about key issues that influence the bottom line of doing business.
Capitol Connections
Capitol Watch, a weekly email publication during the Minnesota Legislative Session, notifies members of the latest issues and information that are impacting retail business at the State Capitol. This includes action that the Minnesota Retailers Association is taking on behalf of our members, as well as hot topics, bills and other news important to retailers.
Chain Drug/ Pharmacy Alert 
Chain Drug/ Pharmacy Alert, a periodic email publication, advises pharmacy members of activities of the Board of Pharmacy, as well as action taken by the State Legislature. It allows members to stay accurately informed and learn how to educate legislators on the important role pharmacy plays in the health care delivery system.
Legislative Report
The Legislative Report, an end-of-session publication, provides retailers with an outline of the bills that MnRA works on throughout the year to improve the marketplace for retailing in Minnesota. Issues that commonly appear in this report include, but are not limited to, minimum wage, property taxes, sales tax, health care, environmental restrictions, privacy and many more.
It’s the Law
The It’s the Law guidebook, published every two years, educates retailers on the laws they must abide by when doing business in Minnesota.
