Mike Hiltner is Director of Government Relations for Best Buy Co. Inc., a leading retailer of consumer electronics, content and related services. He is responsible for managing state and federal legislative and regulatory issues impacting the company. Before joining Best Buy in 2004, Hiltner held government affairs roles with the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and Honeywell International Inc. In addition, he has served as Transportation Policy Committee chairman of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce (2006-2008), completed the Leadership Minnesota program (2006-2007) and is currently completing the Public Affairs
Council Institute program. He also serves on multiple state retail association boards and legislative committees. Mike began his career in politics as a staff assistant in the U.S. Senate and holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Minnesota.
